Event Cancellation & Rescheduling

We understand that plans can change. Because event and concierge bookings require advance planning, sourcing, scheduling, and sometimes commitments to third-party vendors, the following cancellation and rescheduling terms apply.

Deposits & Booking Payments

Any deposit or retainer required to reserve an event date is applied toward the total cost of your booking.

Once planning, purchasing, design work, sourcing, or vendor coordination has begun, portions of your payment may become non-refundable.

Custom products, personalized items, perishable goods, specialty purchases, and third-party vendor charges are non-refundable once ordered or committed.

Client Cancellations

If you need to cancel your event or service, please contact us as soon as possible.

Unless different terms are provided in your individual proposal or agreement:

More than 30 days before the scheduled service:

Payments may be refundable, less any non-refundable deposit, completed planning or design work, purchased products, custom items, and third-party vendor charges.

15–30 days before the scheduled service:

Payments made toward planning, coordination, and committed expenses are non-refundable. Any remaining refund or credit will be determined based on costs already incurred.

14 days or less before the scheduled service:

Payments are generally non-refundable because staffing, products, materials, scheduling, and vendor commitments have typically already been secured.

Rescheduling

We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate one date change when requested in advance, subject to our availability.

Payments already made may be transferred to the new date when possible. However, additional charges may apply for:

â€¢    Products that cannot be reused

    â€¢    Perishable goods

â€¢    New or increased vendor fees

    â€¢    Additional travel

    â€¢    Seasonal price changes

    â€¢    Rush orders

    â€¢    Additional planning or labor

Third-party vendors may have separate rescheduling policies that will also apply.

Weather

Colorado weather can be unpredictable.

Normal rain, snow, cold temperatures, or other expected seasonal conditions do not automatically qualify an event for a refund.

If conditions make travel or service performance unsafe or impossible, we will work with you in good faith to determine whether the service can be modified, delayed, relocated, or rescheduled.

Any non-refundable products, completed work, or third-party vendor charges will remain the client's responsibility.

Third-Party Vendor Cancellations

Services booked through independent vendors may be subject to that vendor's own cancellation and refund policies.

If a vendor becomes unavailable, we will make reasonable efforts to identify an appropriate replacement when possible. Any replacement may be subject to availability and pricing differences.

ABBC Cancellation

In the unlikely event that ABBC must cancel a service and cannot provide a reasonable alternative or rescheduled date, we will refund payments made directly to ABBC for services we are unable to provide, excluding completed work, products already delivered, and non-refundable third-party costs where applicable.

Your Proposal or Service Agreement

Certain larger events, custom projects, and vendor bookings may include cancellation or payment terms specific to that booking.

When an individual proposal or signed service agreement contains different cancellation terms, the terms of that agreement will control.

Questions?

If something unexpected comes up, please contact us as soon as possible. We will always do our best to find a reasonable solution while accounting for work already completed and expenses already committed.
